It is among the earliest Orthodox societies in the city. It established a clinic with doctors to treat the needy of all communities without exception.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div expenses for needy members of the community, and helped administer the affairs of St. George\u2019s Orthodox Church George\u2019s Church to strengthen financial stability and not rely solely on the charity of community members.<\/p><p>After the Nakba and the displacement of most of the community, the Society came under the wing of the Orthodox Philanthropic Society in order to preserve its existence and continue its
